FODEP Executive Director Mweenge Chimfwembe says President Edgar Lungu’s warning to Ministers who do not visit their constituencies is therefore timely.

Mr Chimfwembe says many are times when Members of Parliament do not visit their constituencies after being voted into office.

He says it is important that Parliamentarians engage the electorate in their respective constituencies on what they are doing to take development to the people.

Meanwhile Mr. Chimfwembe has appealed to the Electoral Commission of Zambia to clear the air on reports circulating on social media that some commissioners at the commission have been removed.
