Monze PF castigates HH

The ruling PF in Monze District has castigated UPND Leader Hakainde Hichilema for insisting that the party will not go to the convention because there is no leadership vacuum in the party.

PF Monze District Chairman Gilbert Mwila says that is undemocratic way of running a political party.

Mr. Mwila says he agrees with other stakeholders who have questioned the democratic qualities of Mr. Hichilema saying he is failing to respect his own party constitution and wonders if he can respect Zambia’s constitution.

He says he should emulate the ruling party which will go to the convention in 2020 even if there is no leadership vacuum in the ruling party.

He adds that the ruling party has a strong and solid leadership but that they will go to the convention because they are respecting the party constitution.

Mr. Mwila says Mr. Hichilema must prove to the nation that he is a democratic leader by doing what his own party constitution demands.
