The Agriculture Technical and Professional Staff Union of Zambia (ATPSUZ) has called on government to blacklist all agro dealers frustrating the e-voucher System under the Farmer Input Support programme (FISP).

ATPSUZ General Secretary Joe Kamutumwa is also calling on government to ensure that companies contracted to deliver farming inputs and have failed to meet their contractual obligations are also blacklisted.

Mr. Kamutumwa says the country does not need stakeholders who are not concerned about the growth of the agriculture sector.

And Mr. Kamutumwa has welcomed the recent announcement by President Edgar Lungu that he will appoint a committee of experts to look into the flaws of the e-voucher system.

He says it is important that such shortcomings in the program are identified early so that they are not repeated in the near future.
