Zambia’s Civil service politicized – Beene

CSAWUZ General Secretary Joy Beene

Civil Servants and Allied Workers Union of Zambia (CSAWUZ) General Secretary Joy Beene has observed that Zambia’s civil service has been politicized.

Mr. Beene is calling on government to see to it that the civil service is free of politics.

He has noted that the politicization of the civil service has negatively affected the effectiveness and productivity of workers in the country.

Mr. Beene says if the public service is not depoliticized, this will undermine the development agenda of the nation.
