PF President Edgar Lungu and his running mate Inonge Wina
Former Patriotic Front Secretary General Charles Chimumbwa has endorsed the candidature of President Edgar Lungu as the PF candidate for the 2021 general elections.
Mr. Chimumbwa tells QFM News that there is no need to experiment when the party has tested, trusted and exemplary leadership.
Mr. Chimumbwa says President Lungu has worked and continues to work hard in running both the party and country.
He says President Lungu worked under late President Michael Sata and exemplified honest, fairness and thoughtfulness.
Mr. Chimumbwa states that in the past he had the opportunity to observe and evaluate the perspectives and agendas of every senior PF member and found that President Lungu’s honest, pragmatic and insight into the country’s problems and needs and willingness to examine issues while listening to public concerns sets apart from others.
He has since urged all PF members to support the Head of State in standing in 2021 on the PF ticket.
