PF disagrees, 2017 has started on bad note

The ruling PF has disagreed with observations by various stakeholders in governance that the year 2017 has begun on a bad note for Zambia.

PF Deputy Spokesperson Frank Bwalya says his party thinks that much as the Country has come under attack by army worms this year, it does not meant 2017 has began on bad note in its entirety.

Mr. Bwalya says stakeholders that however thinks that this attack is a signal of a bad beginning should also keep in mind that Zambia is in fact experiencing very good rainfall this year.

In an interview with QTV News Mr. Bwalya says in addition to the good rainfall government is equally responding well in address the issue of the army worms.

Mr. Bwalya notes that this is evidenced by how government has ensured that chemicals to curb the attacks of this worms on crops are evenly distributed across the Country.

He states that besides this intervention by government, any Zambia would also be happy to know that the year 2017 has begun with a reduction in the price of fuel.

Mr. Bwalya has wondered how anyone can therefore consider the year 2017 as one that has started on a bad note when prices of other commodities will reduce as a result of the reduced price of fuel.
