The Southern African Centre for Constructive Resolution of Dispute (SACCORD) has advised the ruling Patriotic Front (PF) to sit down with the Law Association of Zambia (LAZ) and resolve their differences amicably.

SACCORD Executive Director Boniface Cheembe says it will not do the PF good to deem a professional body such as LAZ an enemy.

Mr. Cheembe says it is important that the PF dialogues with LAZ if they have any grievances citing that there many avenues that can be undertaken if the country has to continue maintaining its peace and democracy.

He emphasizes that the PF should call for a meeting with LAZ and see the best way forward stressing that deeming LAZ as a political enemy makes democracy unhealthy.

Mr. Cheembe further states that he is hopeful that the PF and LAZ will resolve their issues in an amicable way.
