CCZ urges Lungu to turn rhetoric into reality

The Council of Churches in Zambia (CCZ) says it expects reality from the rhetoric President Edgar Lungu has brought out in his speech during the official opening of Parliament.

In an interview with QTV News, CCZ Secretary General Suzanne Matale says the CCZ is mindful that it is not the first time that such rhetoric has been made by politicians.

Reverend Matale says history confirms it that such rhetoric by politicians does not go together with actions.

She states that this is why the CCZ feels the country is currently short on implementation of good governance.

Reverend Matale says the CCZ therefore urges President Lungu to walk the talk of what he brought out in his speech.
