UPND living in a fool’s paradise – Frank Bwalya

The ruling Patriotic Front has charged that UPND members are living in a fool’s paradise to expect the International Court of Justice to overturn President Edgar Lungu’s re-election.

PF Deputy Spokesperson Frank Bwalya says the move by the UPND to take its presidential election petition case to the International Court of Justice will yield nothing.

In an interview with QTV News, Mr. Bwalya has wondered how President Lungu’s re-election can be overturned by a Court that has no competence.

Mr. Bwalya says the PF is in fact not aware of any Court outside Zambia that can hear an election petition which the opposition UPND is seeking.

He states that the move is only an attempt by UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema to calms his party members.
