UPND Veep Dr. Canisius Banda suspended
United Party for National Development (UPND) Vice President for Politics Dr. Canisius Banda has been suspended with immediate from the party on gross misconduct grounds.
In a letter addressed to Dr. Banda, UPND President Hakainde Hichilema says it has come to his attention that Dr. Banda has been using provocative language against his fellow party officials.
The UPND President has through the party constitution however given Dr. Banda a seven days ultimatum in which to exculpate himself against the alleged misconduct.
This is according to a Press statement made available to the Media this afternoon.
