UNZA unions hint of a go slow

The three University of Zambia Unions have resolved to stage a go slow if August salaries are not paid by tomorrow, Wednesday 31^st August.

The three unions are the University of Zambia Lecturers’ and Researchers Union, University of Zambia Professional Staff Union and the University of Zambia and Allied Workers Union.

They have further resolved that all staff will not participate in the conduct of End Year Examinations scheduled to commence on Monday 5^th September,2016.

The resolutions were made at a joint meeting held today.

This is according to a statement signed by UNZALARU General Secretary Jason Mwanza,UNZAPROSU General Secretary Frank Lungu and UNZAAWU General Secretary Willa Mulabika.
