Green Party President Peter Sinkamba has written to the Independent Broadcasting Authority expressing shock and distress at the decision to suspend the broadcasting licenses for Muvi TV, Komboni radio and Itezhi tezhi FM.
In an open letter to the IBA, Mr. Sinkamba has questioned whether the authority ever issued written notices to the three broadcasting stations asking them to comply with the conditions of their licenses before suspending them.
He has also asked the IBA to state whether they notified the licensees with a warning of the measures the broadcasting stations should take within a specified period in order to comply with the conditions of their licenses.
