TACL Country Director Felix Mwanza

TALC Executive Director Felix Mwanza has noted that this achievement has been recorded because of the massive investment the country has seen in areas of HIV prevention, treatment and voluntary male circumcision, behavioral change among other interventions.

Mr. Mwanza says the country has also invested massively in condom use which he says is one of the scientifically proven methods of preventing the spread of the HIV virus.

He states that if the government and other stakeholders continue on this path, chances of the nation achieving all its HIV targets are high.

Mr Mwanza has also noted that Zambia is also doing well in terms of prevention of mother to child transmission.
