MAZ vindicated by CCPC findings

The Millers Association of Zambia (MAZ) says it has been vindicated by the findings of the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) that there are no cartels to fix the price of mealie meal.

MAZ Chairperson Andrew Chintala says that as an association they are happy that the CCPC has cleared them.

Mr. Chintala adds that they are hopeful that the clearance will help consumers trust millers, stressing that millers are committed to good business practices.
