Diversification should not be left to govt alone – Dodia

Economist Yusuf Dodia has urged relevant stakeholders to take serious steps towards diversifying the country’s economy from dependence on copper.

Mr. Dodia believes that the diversification agenda should not be left to government alone but that it needs collaborative efforts by all stakeholders.

He says the only thing government can do is to facilitate the diversification agenda while other stakeholders come on board to help government achieve its dream.

Mr. Dodia has also encouraged government to create favorable policies for other actors to operate freely so that the diversification agenda can be actualized.
