God cannot be fooled, UPND reminds PF

The opposition UPND has questioned the genuineness in the ruling PF’S commendation of its decision to attend this afternoon’s national prayers.

The UPND does not see any reason why the ruling PF should commend it for attending a prayer.

UPND Secretary General Steven Katuka has told Qfm news in an interview that his party does not have anything against attending a prayer meeting.

Mr. Katuka says his party’ s concerns is however that a prayer meeting of the nature as is being held today must be done in good faith.

He says the UPND’s advise to the ruling PF is that it keeps in mind that God whom it says it wants to seek in today’s prayers cannot be played with like anyone can fool a fellow human being.

Mr. Katuka notes that his party is already aware that this afternoon’s prayers is only a ploy by the ruling PF to target a particular political party.

He says this is evidenced by how some church mother bodies have opted to shun the prayer meeting having realized that its calling is allegedly not genuine.

Mr. Katuka states that his party suspects that this afternoon’s prayers are also allegedly meant to disrupt its campaigns.

He says the UPND will not however fall for this alleged ploy.
