Ms. Greenfield says elections are not about who wins, but how they win through fair and non-violent political campaigning and how they govern afterward.

She says Zambia has been known to be a peaceful nation, and that violence must not be entertained during and after elections.

And Ms. Greenfield has observed that a free press is important for the development of democracy.

She says this is why something should be done about the closure of the Post newspapers.

Ms Greenfield however, says the Post newspapers should also pay its tax obligations and continue to operate for the goodness of democracy.
