Zambian woman nabbed in South Africa

South African Security officials have detained a Zambian woman on allegations of drug Trafficking.

Zambian High Commission to South Africa Emmanuel Mwamba has confirmed the development to QFM News that police in South Africa are holding a Zambian woman for allegedly trafficking drugs.

Mr. Mwamba says the woman was allegedly caught with narcotics substance.

Mr. Mwamba has identified the woman as Hildah Malaya who was nabbed at Oliver Reginald Tambo International (ORTI) Airport on her way to Lusaka from India.

He says she is currently detained at Tembisa Police.

The Zambian envoy to South Africa says Ms Malaya is expected to appear in Kempton Park Magistrate Court tomorrow.
