Regulate placement of campaign posters, Ng’oma urges councils

Political Scientist Alex Ng’oma has called on local authorities to regulate the placement of campaign posters during the campaign period.

Dr. Ng’oma is concerned that some campaign posters are placed at wrong places yet local authorities are doing nothing about it.

He says City and District councils working in collaboration with the Electoral Commission of Zambia should ensure that campaign posters are placed at the right places.

Dr. Ng’oma says there is need for some level of order when it comes to the placement of campaign posters.
