British High Commissioner to Zambia Fergus Cochrane Dyet says it is incumbent upon political leaders in the country to keep their followers in check during the campaign period.
Mr. Dyet says it is every ones prayer that the country will not see more violence involving political cadres has the country has already seen so far.
He says it is important that politicians are calm even as elections draw closer and maintain peace at all cost ahead of the general elections.
Mr. Dyet adds that the Electoral commission of Zambia has a very good reputation throughout southern Africa adding that it would be important to maintain the reputation.
