President Edgar Lungu is on the Copperbelt for a two-day visit that will see him launch the Freedom Park Mall by National Pension Scheme Authority (NAPSA) and the sinking of the Mopani Copper Mine shaft in Kitwe.

And addressing Copperbelt residents upon arrival at Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe International Airport in Ndola this morning, President Lungu says he has set a pace for national development which most people are appreciating.

President Lungu says the PF, as a party in power, is leading as an example in addressing the challenges the people are going through.

President Lungu says the country’s economy is slowly improving and those who want him fail will be ashamed.

He says things cannot be fine all the time and that is why even the nation recently experienced turbulences.

The Head of State has since assured Copperbelt residents that things will improve in due course as his government is working hard in dealing with their challenges.
