Ministry of Agriculture Permanent Secretary Julius Shawa
Agriculture Permanent Secretary Julius Shawa has dismissed allegations of corruption by Zambian Voice Executive Chilufya Tayali in the selling of maize at the Food Rese4rve Agency.
Mr Shawa has told a media briefing that all the proceeds realized from the sale of maize go into a Bank of Zambia account which as of 22nd April,2016 was holding K1.37 billion.
He says allegations of corruption and abuse of office by Government officials are therefore unsubstantiated and lack facts.
Mr Shawa says Mr Tayali is at liberty to report any misconduct which he perceives to be taking place in any Government Ministry or Public institution to the relevant investigative wings of Government.
