Grand Coalition Chairperson Leonard Chiti says the coalition has particularly taken note that President Lungu has banned unnecessary foreign travels by government officials.

And Father Chiti has told Qfm News by telephone that the Grand Coalition will wait and see what will happen to the contents of the draft constitution following the passage of the constitution amendment bill by Parliament.

He says this is because the Grand Coalition strongly believes that the ruling PF is only interested in specific clauses in the final draft constitution.

Father Chiti has citied the 50+1 presidential winning threshold, the presidential running mate, provincial assemblies and the appointment of Cabinet outside Parliament as some of the clauses the ruling PF does not want .
