Islamic Leader in Zambia tips students

The Islamic Supreme Council of Zambia says there is always a better channel that students can use to air out their grievances.

Council President Suzyo Zimba says what is happening in the country now where each time students are aggrieved, they vent their hunger on the innocent members of the public is not the way to do things.

Mr. Zimba says dialogue is the best way for people, institutions and even politicians to sort out their differences.

He points out that the solution is not in protesting and rioting hence students should not be wasting their time by running to the streets when they have issues.

Mr. Zimba has however urged government to find lasting solutions to issues surrounding learning institutions in the country.
