A retired Zambia Air Force (ZAF) Colonel has shot dead his wife after a marital dispute.
Lusaka Province Commissioner of Police Charity Katanga says the incident happened between 01 and 02hours today.
Ms Katanga has named the ex- ZAF officer who is also a Lusaka Lawyer as Colonel Pandala Banda of Chamba Valley and his deceased wife as Vivian Ilukena Banda.
She says Colonel Banda’s son and other relatives descended on him after he shot dead his wife and is admitted to an unknown hospital in Lusaka where he nursing injuries sustained from the beating.
