A bizarre incident in Lusaka today, where a man involved in an accident with another car driven by a woman was found with a snake strapped to his waist left onlookers stunned.
The accident happened along Burma Road near Jacaranda.
The car man was driving is said to have disappeared fro
m the accident scene in unclear circumstances.
The QFM News crew that rushed to Kabwata Police Station, where the man is being kept for his own safety, found hundreds of people trying to catch a glimpse of the man.
An Eye Witness who only identified himself as Davy, has narrated to QFM News that he was coming from RTSA when the accident happened and that as he was trying to help the accident victims he noticed a snake coming from the man’s waist.
He says he was shocked to see the car the man was driving disappear while he looked on in disbelief.
He explained other people who came on the scene later helped to take the woman who was involved in the accident to UTH for medical attention seek medical attention.
And when contacted for a comment, Police Spokesperson Charity Munganga-Chanda confirmed receiving the report on the incident by referred the reporter to Lusaka province Police Commissioner Charity Katanga for further details whose phone went unanswered, after earlier asking to be called later as she was at the airport where King Mswati of Swaziland was being awaited by President Edgar Lungu.
And UTH public relation Manager Mwenya Mulenga has confirmed to QFM that the woman who was involved in the accident was taken to the hospital where she was attended to and allowed to go home.
