Angelina Jolie admits she and husband Brad Pitt have ‘issues’

ANGELINA Jolie has admitted her and husband Brad Pitt have their “issues” in a telling interview about their marriage.

The actress – who tied the knot with Hollywood icon Brad in a secret ceremony in France last year – revealed they have to work hard at their relationship.

But speaking about the pair’s new film, By The Sea, Angelina insisted the storyline – which is about a couple’s marriage on the rocks – is not a reflection of their own relationship.

“It’s not autobiographical. Brad and I have our issues. But if the characters were even remotely close to our problems we couldn’t have made the film,” she told Vogue.

“As artists we wanted something that took us out of our comfort zones. Just being raw actors. It’s not the safest idea. But life is short.”

Maleficent star Angelina posed for a shoot with the fashion magazine, alongside Brad and their six children.

The stunning pictures feature the family on the beach wearing Halloween costumes and riding motorbikes.

Angelina also features alone on the front cover, simply wrapped in a black and white striped jumper, with the strap line: “All About Angelina”.

In the interview, she also opened up about menopause, having a mastectomy and why she’s excited to turn 50, admitting she wished her mum, who passed away in 2007 after battling ovarian and breast cancer, had the same choices she did.

“Both of the women in my family, my mother and my grandmother started dying in their 40s. I’m 40. I can’t wait to hit 50 and know I made it.”
