Six foreign-based players led by Zambia captain Rainford Kalaba have joined camp ahead of Sunday’s away clash against Kenya.

Kalaba was part of the second day of training on Tuesday at National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka after joining camp late on Monday.

The Zambia playmaker arrived in camp from his DR Congo base together with his TP Mazembe club-mates midfielder Nathan Sinkala and defender Kabaso Chongo.

Also in camp are defenders Stopilla Sunzu of French Ligue 1 club Lille and Aaron Katebe who recently joined Moroccan club Maghreb Atlantic Tetouan from Zimbabwe side FC Platinum.

Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene also graced Tuesday training.

The six join Mpumalanga Black Aces striker Collins Mbesuma and midfielder Chisamba Lungu of Russian club FC Ural who were part of day one training on Monday.

Zambia coach George Lwandamina is now expecting midfielder Lubambo Musonda of Gandzasar in Armenia including the Israeli-based duo of striker Evans Kangwa and defender Emmanuel Mbola of Hapoel Ra’anana.

Zambia are expected to leave for Nairobi on Friday ahead of their second Group E match in the 2017 Africa Cup qualifiers.

Kenya, Zambia, Guinea Bissau and Congo-Brazzaville are tied on 1 point each heading into match-day-two this weekend on the road to the 2017 Gabon finals.
