Chingola Mayor warns against illegal allocation of land

Chingola Mayor Titus Tembo has warned those involved in illegal land allocation in the mining town to desist from act.

Mr. Tembo has advised people to follow the laid down procedure in acquiring land as opposed to falling prey to people allocating land illegally.

He says the act of illegal land allocation in the district has continued to affect the operations of the local authority.

Mr. Tembo has also warned those who are putting up structures without approval from the council to stop or risk having their structures razed down.

The Chingola Mayor says those whose structures will be demolished will not be refunded by the council.
