And to ensure that it’s a true likeness, he even got his own personal hairstylist to sort out the model’s barnet.
Michael Wade, who created the original sculpture back in 2013, told The Sun: “We still had the mould that we’d used to sculpt him in 2013, so this copy was a complete duplicate. And Ronaldo sent us a football kit and his latest boots.
“But we left the hair alone, because that’s exactly how he wanted it. We put all the hair in, one at a time and then, in Madrid, his hairdresser came along to cut it.”

A spokesperson for the Museum of Wax told a Spanish publication: “Cristiano told us to be sure his figure was perfect. He sent his own hairstylist to brush his figure once a month.
“The waxwork’s hair is natural. It is not a wig and it comes from India.”
