Lusaka Water restores water supply to normal

The Lusaka Water and Sewerage Company has disclosed that the water supply system in Lusaka has normalized despite the continued load shedding.

Company Marketing and Public Relations Manager Topsy Sikalinda says when load shedding started the company started rationing water because water generation was affected by power cuts.

Mr. Sikalinda states that since the company engaged the power utility company, ZESCO, things are back to normal.

And Mr. Sikalinda has also disclosed that the company has procured about 10, 000 pre paid meters and that they are just waiting for delivery in the country before installing them.
