BOBBI Kristina Brown’s funeral service took place at St. James United Methodist Church in Georgia today.

Whitney Houston was also remembered at the emotional service as the choir paid tribute by singing a song that was played at Whitney’s funeral in 2012.

Donnie McClurkin’s Stand was sung at the superstar singer’s funeral after she passed in similar circumstances to her daughter three years ago.

According to The Mirror, the family thought it would be fitting for the song to be performed in honour of her daughter too.

“It was beautiful. It was wonderful that Whitney was remembered too,” a guest said.

A hearse carrying the 22 year old’s coffin arrived at the church earlier today.

Whitney Houston’s daughter’s coffin was carried into the church where the funeral service took place this afternoon.

The service lasted apparently lasted two hours and 41 minutes, ended with Bobbi being led out of the church to bagpipes playing Ave Maria.

Her relatives were later pictured gathering for her private wake.

Bobby Brown and Bobbi’s aunt Pat Houston were seen outside Murray Brothers Funeral Home in Atlanta this morning.

He understandably looked very emotional as he walked out of the funeral home with his wife Alicia.

Relatives were seen hugging each other following the wake and a white hearse was pictured outside ahead of the service.

Bobbi will be laid to rest beside her mother in New Jersey on Monday.

Yesterday it was reported that her boyfriend, Nick Gordon, emailed her father Bobby ‘begging’ him to let him attend the service.

Nick is apparently under police investigation following Bobbi’s death and he could face charges for involuntary manslaughter.

Meanwhile, her mother’s cousin Dionne Warwick has apparently ‘blasted’ the plans for a themed funeral.

According to The Sun, the 74-year-old singer, reportelfy said that Pat ‘s prom-style funeral plans were “stupid and disrespectful”.

A source apparently told the newspaper: “Dionne is planning a trip and threatening to not attend.”
