Revised education curriculum is showing positive trends – Kaingu

Education Minister Michael Kaingu says the revised education curriculum launched last year has shown positive trends in the education sector.

Dr. Kaingu says the only problem the Ministry has encountered is the rolling out of the program in areas where some chiefs are not agreeable to some pupils learning in another local language in Zambezi.

Dr. Kaingu says government is pleased that the program has been received and accepted by the people.

Meanwhile, Dr. Kaingu has refuted claims that government will recruit the 5, 000 teachers in phases.

He says there is no need for teachers to start panicking about the recruitment exercise because it will be transparent.
