New DC assures Siavonga residents

Newly appointed Siavonga District Commissioner Lovemore Kanyama has assured Siavonga residents that the issue of wild animals terrorizing them will be a thing of the past.

Mr. Kanyama notes that wild animals have made life difficult for the people of Siavonga.

He says he will work closely with the Zambia Wildlife Authority (ZAWA) officers to arrest the situation.

Mr. Kanyama adds that he will ensure that health and social services are brought closer to the people.

He says he will not abandon the developmental projects left by his predecessor Brave Mweetwa but will instead build on such projects.

Mr. Kanyama has since praised President Edgar Lungu for the trust he has shown in him and has promised not to let him down.
