Senior Blind Citizen Elijah Ngwale has called on persons with disabilities to commemorate African Freedom Day saying it has nothing with challenges they may be facing.
Mr. Ngwale has told QFM News via telephone that the country has come a long way and there is need to uphold the peace and unity that the country has been witnessing.
Mr. Ngwale says the country’s forefathers fought so hard for the country to attain the economic freedom that the country is enjoying.
He says even though persons living with disabilities are facing a lot of challenges, there is need for them to commemorate the day saying the yoke of colonialism was broken.
