Home Affairs Minister Davies Mwila has implored the Zambia Police Service to ensure efficiency in giving out results following the commissioning of the DNA analysis machine.

Mr. Mwila says he expects the Police forensic department to be efficient in processing DNA samples.

He says government attaches great importance to ensuring that Zambians are served with efficiency.

Mr Mwila says Police should ensure that no stone is left unturned with regards to violent crimes especially those involving murder where there is no witness present during the commission of the offence.

Mr. Mwila notes that Police have the opportunity to contribute positively to the country’s justice system by assisting the courts in establishing the physical facts.
