Chongwe District Commissioner Kebby Kashinamulinda says all developmental projects taking place in the district are progressing well.
Mr. Kashinamulinda has told Qfm news in a telephone interview that the projects which include the construction of Chalimbana University and Palabana University are progressing at a fast rate.
He says all the projects are being monitored closely, adding that government will not tolerate any delay in the construction works on the projects being undertaken in Chongwe district.
Mr Kashinamulinda adds that the people in Chongwe are expectant of more developmental projects in the area.
The Chongwe district Commissioner has also commended contractors working projects in the district for engaging local people thereby helping create employment.
