The Federation of Free Trade Unions of Zambia (FFTUZ) has hailed as brave President Lungu’s decision to lift the wage and subsequently direct the opening of negotiations for new conditions of service for public service workers.
FFTUZ National Chairperson Charity Kampamba has told QFM News says the decision of the Head of State has been long overdue.
Ms Kampamba has since called for the speeding up of the process to open negotiations for new conditions of service.
She has also praised workers for turning in large numbers during the commemoration of Labour Day.
