NMP president Ng’andu Magande is concerned that under the Patriotic Front (PF) government the direction which the country is going seems not to be a priority.

Mr. Magande has told Qfm News by telephone that currently there appears to be a keenness of people making sure that they do things in their lifetime which he says can either be short or longer before they get out of government.

He notes that if this happens the people that are to correct what ever mistakes will be made during this period will be the new generation of young people.

The NMP president says this is why it is extremely important for government to move along with the people as opposed to adopting an attitude of not caring about criticism or advice being render by other stakeholders.

He says the PF government should be wary that some of the stakeholder that are criticizing the manner it is governing the country could be people that had been in government before to observe the negative effects of some government policies that were implemented then but do not want the country to again suffer the same problems.

The opposition leader states that his concern therefore is whether the manner in which the PF government is governing the country has in mind of the future of the next generation.

He has particularly asked President Edgar Lungu to indicate the PF government’s idea of developing Zambia.
