Transport, Works, Supply and Communications Minister Yamfwa Mukanga says government plans to look at the road signage across the country in a bid to reduce road traffic accidents.

Mr. Mukanga says government is concerned with the high numbers of accidents in the country.

Mr. Mukanga says it is for this reason that his ministry is working hard to come up with workable measures of reducing road accidents in the country.

He says motorists also must help by following the traffic rules in order to avoid accidents.

He states that there is no need for motorists to be in a hurry when on the roads saying they should just drive at an appropriate speed.

The Transport Minister adds that he has been discussing with the Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA) to look at the road signage across the country so that roads will be properly marked.
