Union J star Josh Cuthbert, 22, ‘in serious car crash’

UNION J singer Josh Cuthbert and his girlfriend were in a serious car crash over the weekend.

On Sunday, the pair are said to have been driving around London when the person in front of him slammed on his brakes.

Taking to Twitter today, the 22-year-old star said: “Guys, just wanna let you know I’m fine.

“Had a nasty crash but most important thing is that Chloe and I are okay! Car is in a bad way, though.”

Hours before his post, TMZ had reported: “He couldn’t stop in time and ploughed into the car.

“Josh and Chloe were lucky, escaping with soft tissue injuries to their necks and some bruises.”

The band, also made up of JJ Hamblett, Jaymi Hensley and George Shelley, are currently on their European tour.

They first hit our screens back in 2011 on The X Factor, when they auditioned as a trio.

George was then added to the group and they’ve been going strong ever since.

We’re sending Josh and Chloe all our love.

The pair are yet to comment on the accident.
