The Zambia Council for Social Development (ZCSD) says the people of Zambia are still waiting to hear from government how the K44.2 million allocated to the constitution making process in 2014 National Budget was utilized.

ZCSD Executive Secretary Lewis Mwape says it is worrying that government has kept quiet on the K44.2 million when people have been demanding to know how the money was used.

Mr. Mwape says the country has not see the clear expenditure regarding the K44.2 million that was allocated to the constitution making process.

He says it will inspire confidence in the people if government comes out and tell the nation how the money was utilized.

Mr. Mwape says it is for this reason that his organization feels that government through the Ministries of Finance and Justice should disclose how the money was used.
