Lusaka Magistrate Wendy Chibesakunda has issued a timely warning to child defilers and perpetrators of Gender Based Violence (GBV) ahead of the opening of the Fast Track Court on Gender Based Violence.
Magistrate Chibesakunda who is one of the three Magistrates who will be handling cases of gender based violence at the Fast Track Court on GBV says perpetrators of gender based violence should be ready to face law for their evil acts in view of the setting up of Fast Track Court to deal with GBV.
She says only those that understand the meaning of being imprisoned will change their behavior and move on with life in a more respectful way.
Magistrate Chibesakunda states that she is humbled to be identified as one the three magistrates who will be handling cases of Gender Based Violence.
She says she is more than ready to execute her duties professionally and diligently.
