Lungu urged to maximize benefits for Zambia in China

The Zambia Council for Social Development (ZCSD) has urged President Edgar Lungu to utilize his trip to China to maximize benefits for Zambia.

ZCSD Executive Director Lewis Mwape says his organization wants President Lungu to seriously make frantic efforts of lobbying for more investments to come into the country.

Mr. Mwape says in his lobbying President Lungu should keep in mind the abject poverty that a majority of Zambians are still living in 50 years after independence.

He says the President should also take into account the levels of unemployment among youths in the country.

Mr. Mwape states that his organization is of the view that 50 years after independence Zambians need the best in education, low cost of living, improved agriculture sector, and improve health care delivery.
