Mr. Sikota says this is because the decision to set up the tribunal was made by the office of Presidency and not the individual late President Sata.

He has told Qfm News by telephone that this means that anyone that takes up the office of the country’s presidency can do what President Lungu has done.

Mr. Sikota notes that by disbanding the tribunal the President has in fact acted in line with the High Court ruling that was made with respect the said tribunal not to proceed.

He notes that putting into account the High Court ruling its means that what the President has done is only but just a formality of what was supposed to be done.

Mr. Sikota states that this is why he thinks that there is nothing wrong with the disbanding of the tribunal.
