ICOZ counsels opposition

Independent Churches of Zambia (ICOZ) has advised the opposition political parties to stop castigating President Edgar Lungu like a child.

ICOZ President Bishop David Masupa has told Qfm news in an interview that the opposition should sober up in their criticism of the President.

Bishop Masupa says the opposition should help the President govern the country and deliver to expectations of the Zambian people.

He says it is not healthy for the country for the opposition to use strong language against the Head of State.

Bishop Masupa adds that it is unfortunate that some sections of the media are peddling negative reports about the President.

He says it is high time that people learn to give each other respect and help the President govern the country in good spirit.
