Tone down on politicking- Msoni asks fellow leaders

Political party leaders in the country have been called upon to tone down on their current levels of politicking.

Opposition All People’s Congress (APC) is disappointed that the elevated levels of politicking in the country has reached the extents of party followers being killed.

APC president Nason Msoni has told Qfm News by telephone that all political party leaders have a moral obligation to lead their parties out of the current unfortunate situation where two party cadres have died as a result of political violence.

Mr. Msoni states that if such levels of intolerance among political parties is sustained it will spell the beginning of the end of the Zambian politics.

He says he is of the view that politics should not to be personalized or individualized as is the situation in the country.

Mr. Msoni has advised that no person should take advantage of political affiliation to commit crimes.

He says the prayer of his party is that all political party leaders will and should continue to condemn the present political state of affairs in country.
