Reconciliation in PF has paid off – Chama

Patriotic Front Secretary General Davis Chama says the reconciliation that has taken place in the ruling party after the January 20^th presidential election is what will help sustain the PF’s stay in power beyond 2016.

Mr. Chama says reconciliation in the PF has paid off and that he is optimistic the 2016 general elections will be a walk over for ruling party.

He has told Qfm News by telephone that the reconciliation is evidenced by withdrawal of all court cases that arose during the succession differences prior to presidential election.

Mr. Chama notes that PF and republican President Edgar Lungu has already demonstrated the genuineness of the ruling party’s togetherness by appointing party members that dragged him to court during the succession wrangles to his administration.

The PF Secretary General says it is for this reason that he thinks it will be an illusion for any opposition political party to imagine winning next year’s general elections notwithstanding the fact that the ruling PF has emerged stronger than before.
