Mukobela implores fellow chiefs to help curb political violence

Chief Mukobela of the Ila Speaking people in Namwala District of Southern Province has implored his fellow traditional leaders in the country to help curb political violence in the country.

Chief Mukobela states that the high levels of violence in the country are worrying and thus the need to find means and ways of curbing the vice.

The Traditional Leader believes that traditional leaders can play a pivotal role in helping curb political violence.

He says chiefs are influential and their contribution can be vital to ending political violence in the country.

Chief Mukobela has since advised his fellow traditional leaders across the country to work with political party leaders and government in encouraging political cadres to desist from political violence.
