President Edgar Lungu has been implored to seriously address the issue of unemployment among youths in the country.

Aspiring Kabwata Member of Parliament Clement Tembo says President Lungu’s tenure provides an opportunity for young people to attain better lives.

Mr. Tembo says President Lungu should therefore prioritize the plight of youths because they are the most affected unemployment.

He has told Qfm News that the President should in this respect devise means of creating jobs for youths in the next 18 months before the country holds the 2016 general elections.

Mr. Tembo states that President Lungu should do so while keeping it in mind that it was the youths that campaigned and voted for him to become the country’s sixth Head of State.

He has further called upon youths to stay away from violence and politics of tribe.

Mr Tembo says young people should appreciate the fact that people are supposed co-exist and love each other regardless of their tribe or race.
